Bow and Arrows still suck for Home Defense

I know, this has come up before, but never had a dedicated thread.

Just watched "some random movie that has nothing to do with life" again and it reminded me of this fact. They are slow(ish), low capacity (one at a time) and a PITA to reload. The only positive they have (its pretty quiet and doesn't deafen you) is not a complete myth.

Maybe if the target is between 20 and 35 yards there is some advantage, but other than that they are crap. Everyone should just sell their BOWS and ARROWs and get a real weapon for SD/HD. A shotgun.

I don’t care what you say. The bow and arrow will always be beside my bed. You don’t even have to aim. Just point and shoot and it clears a whole room. You can’t beat that.
