Braced pistol allowed in steel challange?

Hey ODT! I have a question regarding my braced pistol in 22LR. Is it banned from a steel challange match? Specifically the Griffin gun club matches. I emailed the director amd havent gotten a reply. I just wanted to make sure my brother would be able to compete. ( it's his first time shooting steel)

I am assuming this is AR type pistol with a brace. Per the SCSA rule book nothing prohibits your brother from using it in a match as long as he shoots it as a pistol in the rimfire pistol division, this means he cannot shoulder the weapon and will have to use the brace as it was initially designed for. In this case I would just remove the brace as it would just get in the way.
