Brake caliper leaking. Rebuild it or buy new one. Replace in pairs?

Replace with use one from junk yard- best route in my opinion. You brake to hard, start using your low gears in your auto tranny to slow down instead!







Ha!!!!! Fk no. I'd go with rebuilt set. Look into the lifetime warranty ones from AutoZone or O'Reilly, if they still have lifetime warranty coverage.

Advance auto parts owns one of the biggest foreign parts company there is. Try them , replace in pars with new pads. They sell a gold pad that is very good. Replace all brake fluid with dot4. Be prepared to bleed brakes a few times to get air out and don’t destroy your master. Get a real system like vacula bleeding system. Good luck

I agree replace both calipers on same axle (Fr or Rr) at same time.
Check pads for any fluid contamination & wear, replace if needed.
IIRC some rebuilt calipers come with pads installed.
