I and brand new to hunting and looking for a place to hunt. I have the Sportsmans license. Was wondering about WMAs. I really just want to focus on bow hunting this year and am anxious to get out there. I have completed my safety course and have a PSE bow and am ready to go. Just need a place. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I see your location is Cumming. There is a McGraw Ford WMA close and its bow only. Dawson Forest is near but they are only gun hunts right now on select days... but during bow season, it is open the entire time. I would scout, scout, and scout some more if you hunt on any public land and be prepared to have hunters come in on you and what not. Good luck!
Sheffield WMA in Paulding Co is archery only as well. It's a little bit of a drive for you, but not a bad place to go.
