Brass cleaning

Any one clean brass after primers are installed,will it effect ingition. Thanks

The dust in your tumbler will fill the inside of the primer up, or could stop up a flash hole,, I don't think it would be a good idea

Tumble before resizing.. Then clean primer pockets with brush if desired...

Thete is no reason to do this if you have one post it and someone will tell you a better way. If it is cause you want it clean and did not do before hand just shoot dirty it won't effect anything.

Right... Because barrels or a re-chamber job are cheap...

Wouldn't want any crud or excess carbon in my expensive chambers...

Or tumble before and after resizing (be sure to use walnut). Most people don't but I'm weird like that. It gives me clean brass for inserting primers and pouring powder.

wait until after you put the round on to tumble... that way the bullet gets shiny too!














I'm only saying it before someone else does

seriously, I've tumbled pre and post primer... just make sure you hit em with a brush to knock any media from the flash hole after.
