For you reloaders that reload 223. Just wanted to give you a heads up that SDI brass is garbage. While processing brass today I ran across some brass with the head stamp SDI. I punched out the primer and checked the primer pocket with my go-no go gauge and found that the no go end fell right in. I then got a fresh primer and was able to push it in and out easily by hand. No tools required.
The primer pockets are oversized and the brass is garbage.
Unless you have access to oversized primers they can't be used.

No, don't have any. I tried CCI and Federal and both pretty much fell in and were easily pushed out. If I had dropped the brass on a table they probably would have fell out

They need to keep the stuff in India if they can't make it to the correct specs. Even Russia can make good ammo and make it to the correct specs. Just finished going through 7 buckets of 223s. Now I have to go back and find all the crap so it doesn't cause problems when reloading them.
