All veterans are upset we cannot do this anymore. I woulda had a Khyber Pass AK FS/FT used, unknown round count, stamped "jahbadabal", canted everything, bfpu finish, original burlap sling, previous owner deceased selling his estate for him

My grandfather served in an artillery unit in WWI.

He was too old they told him when he tried to join up for WWII.

So he left his wife and three sons and joined the Red Cross and ran an R&R facility on FIJI.

He brought this back. It was passed to my father.

It's a great little shooter, too.

My grandfather brought back two p-38's off a German Sgt who no longer needed them. I don't have any pics. I need to get some.

My dad brought this Arisaka Type 99 and bayonets home. Not astounding but cool none-the-less. Great shooter, very accurate.

When I was a 10 or so, probably 1951-2, Pennsauken NJ, I cut grass for a guy who fought in the Pacific. He had a TRUNK full of Japanese artifacts, clothing, swords, flags, Arisaka rifle, Nambu pistol, Jap mess kits and other stuff. I haven't lived there for 41 years but always wondered what happened to those items and how he got that much back to NJ!!

My Grandfather had to turn in the MP - 40 he borrowed. BUT he did bring home a Olympic Nazi armband and a flag. I will have to get some pics. ( The owner of the arm band was furious. I don't think my battle hardened Grandfather cared).
