I need so help if position..I have a BSA that I am considering selling or trading. I dont know much about it but have had for years...just sets in safe. It is missing the rear sight and front sight. What kind of value would this be? It's a single shot 220 long rifle. My dad has shot it years ago. He removed the sights to do some kind of work on it and can't be located. Any help? Thanks

Values vary quite a bit, might be worth trying to date it. Similar to the first rifle I ever shot back in the UK, 50 years ago, so if you're thinking of selling it.......

Losing the sight is a major problem, but it can be replaced. just a question of who pays for it.

Condition is rough with the rust.

I have 3 in various configurations, bought over the years - depending in condition, wood, usual things, paid $300 ish. No sight would be south of that.

If can be dated pretty easily.

It's a take down model.

Thanks for the information...from my research I see the sights are quite pricey if one in located...
