Tyson has agreed to invest in Protix, a company that turns insects into “protein” for human and animal consumption.

John R. Tyson said:
The insect lifecycle provides the opportunity for full circularity within our value chain, strengthening our commitment to building a more sustainable food system for the future.

They "say" it's for animal feed but....

This was a big thing in Europe some years ago, bug protein. After a year or two it just vanished from the shelves. Interesting concept though too bad never got to try it.
