Atleast it didnt spread to the store and damage it or inventory. That place was my second home for along time. Tara kept candy in a drawer just for my daughter.

I would hope there would be a range officer who would kick your ass immediately after you fired the first one.
Not sure how someone can fire tracers in the first place,
or
How a gun range could not have an effective fire extinguishment system available.
Glad for them that the fire apparently wasn't worse, but just saying --

I seriously doubt they can afford renovation.

The range needed to be severely updated. Hopefully they will rebuild up to current specs as their other local ranges/gun stores they own.

At GMC, in 1984 the rifle range (indoor, small bore) caught fire behind the bullet traps in Whitfield Hall. In the past, some rocket surgeon decided it'd be a good use of old mattresses to lay them on the back of the bullet traps to shore up the stopping capabilities. LOL.
Now I know where to fire off them WWII surplus "willie peter" rounds I need to get rid of.
