Burris RMR and the FNX Tactical

I'm considering getting a FastFire III. RMR noob question. "Do I want the 3MOA or 8MOA model?" Thanks ODT!

Thought so. Just making sure. Anyone know if the FF3 will fit using the plates that comes with the FNXT? I can save a couple bucks getting one without the mount.
