I've got a spare lower laying around and I found a good buy on a complete bushmaster carbon 15 upper gen 2 with the dust cover and forward assist. First off, can you mate the two together? (A regular aluminum lower with the carbon upper) second off, are they any good? I've heard good things about the gen 2's and bad things about the original run. Yalls input greatly appreciated.
