Buy once cry once (help outfitting new ar)

Hey y'all,

I joined this site not too long ago to find my first AR before any new legislation limited my ability to do so. I ended up going off a tip on here and buying a DDM4V7 from Clyde’s armory in Athens. Price tag was already 100$ over budget, but at the checkout (taxation is theft) I was almost 300 over budget. My wife really tore me a new one. Now that I am home and want to go try the dang thing out, I realize that it does not have any sights on it not to mention ammo is crazy. I fear if I spend any more money on this, I might not make it out alive. I am at the point where wearing a wig to ladies’ night at the range is on the table. If anyone has spare 5.56 AR sights, parts, ammo, or even information that could help me get started shooting I would greatly appreciate it.

You know you could probably sell it for what you paid, right? Maybe just find a great trade. The DD is sweet but so is a Colt with a scope, extra mags, and ammo.
