so, kinda loosing some momentum on this thread. anywhoo, im not going to lie, im still not getting as big of clouds with the nemesis as i see others. anyone got a good coil and does everyone use 100%vg? iv got 50/50 right now.
I use 80/20 vg/pg. What resistance coil are you using. Is it a dual coil. How big are the air flow holes. The lower the resistance the more are is needed for huge clouds
right now i think the resistance is .4 and its a dual coil, its a helios. i get a decent amount of vapor but it also seems kind of thin. its more than the pro tank but really isnt what iv been seeing at v8p. think im going to see if i can try some 100% next time im in just to see. also need a new seal/oring. mine never fit right and came off lol. no real issue with leaking but it makes the cover lose as hell.
Take some floss and put it under the o ring. That will tighten it up. Make sure your air flow holes are lined up with the coil. Try lifting the coil a little. It should still chuck vapor regardless of the vg/pg but pure vg is thick azz Vape lol
well the o ring is shredded now so theres nothing to put the floss under lol. yeah watching all the vids........im getting alot less vapor production and much thinner vapor than what im seeing in the vids......
so i tried to build new coils and got pissed but was still in the experimentation mode.........replaced the protank wicks with cotton. it was a ***** but so far its interesting to say the least.......going to try it out tomorrow more in depth. flavor is definitely different. seems to be wicking well and which is good because i know i did it a really messed up wrong way probably. kinda interested to see how it goes. this may save me coils as i can just replace cotton till they burn out. so far iv yet to get a burnt taste so i must have done something right...........
ok im talking to myself at this point but im conflicted. i want to say the flavor is either pure or muted with the cotton. its completely different from the wicks that were in it and when i change wicks. its just weird. getting a great throat hit and i want to say more vapor. i guess ill stop for the night and report back in the PM after work.
some times with cotton it takes a while for the full flavor to come through . maybe 5- 10 big hits. if your vapor production is lame on a .04 ohm dual coil setup your batteries are bad or the mod has alot of voltage drop. anther possibility is the screws came loose on the helios. just to many variables to try and say o its this lol. id start by seeing what the voltage is at the pins on the helios when firing. if its more than say .7 v drop from the battery voltage then start there
I think also I made a mistake with the cotton in the protank. I started with Apple and then switched to Mountain Dew. I didn't try to clear out the apple though so I think that might be an issue. Definitely wicking amazing though.
