Can this boat survive Lake Lanier?

I remember?? in the late 70's at Destin or Fort Walton my older brothers renting these little boats and I was watching on the beach. I always wanted one but not sure I would take it on Lake Lanier on a Saturday or Sunday!

I saw an old faded version of that in front of a house on the Torras Causeway that goes to St.Simons not long ago. There's also another very similar one here in Darien sitting in the dirt in a front yard near the river walk. Too bad there ain't a market for junk boats. I could get rich down here.
But that boat would be a lot of fun with not even much motor pushing it.

Jesus, just priced a Mercury 50HP motor, $7,300!! NOPE!!

I guess I'll just stick with my Skeeter to play around on.
