Can't make a decision!!! Glock 43 or S&W 9 M&P Shield

I own a 43 and love it. That being said I shot a buddies shield, and the thought occurred that I wouldn't mind having one of those too. I think they both shoot like a bigger gun, yet carry like a sub-compact. My recommendation would be to find a range that rents both and try them out. They are similar sized, but they do feel different in the hand IMO. Renting the 43 and shooting it was what sold me on it. As far as capacity, I put a Pearce +1 on the mag I carry in the gun, and a ghost +2 on my backup mag. The ghost just adds a little too much length to the grip affecting the concealability to use it all the time.

It's whatever feels right. I do not own a Glock, nothing against them, just don't have one. But I like the 43. Feels real good in my hand, wayyyyyy better than the Shield. The Shield doesn't feel right in my hand. As OP said, subjective.

Have a G43. Like it a lot. Great for pocket carry or IWB during the Summer. Also makes a nice BUG for an ankle holster.

I haven't read through the thread but I absolutely love my shield(no safety). It is crazy accurate for a small pistol. I bet 5 or 6 of my friends have bought one after they shot mine.

I'm very impressed with the accuracy out of mine also. I dont have a 43 to compare with, but I do have a G42. I'm shocked at how well that little sucker will group. Just tear the center out the targets.
