That is just the logic they use up on the hill. They seem to think that if you ban something.... people will quit doing it. It is working really well for them with the whole "war on drugs" thing.

There were some serious loan sharks in the military, when the cash ran out many a sucker borrowed for 50-100% interest just to get to the next payday in small amounts. I can just see the snuff/chewing/cig dealers making big money off their "comrades", especially REMF in the supply chain to the guys in the bush.

It's very basic and in our human nature. It's all about "control" and what those in control deem appropriate to those who must obey. Absolute control.......
Well we better maker sure the commander and chief dose not smoke anymore, and make sure he can't smoke on Government property while were at as well...
