Car insurance renewal with Geico coming and they are sticking it to me $4200 a year for 100/300/100 coverage on 5 cars. Who do you guys recommend?

There is more to insurance than a low rate. Now would be a good time to shop. Survey some folks in North Carolina and ask how their ins. is responding and who they are with. You find out how good your ins is when you need it..
Agreed. USAA for me all the way. Not the cheapest rates but excellent service and fair and prompt payments when needed. When I totaled my last SUV and called them at 0700, they had the rollback here before I could get it cleaned out. Rental replacement paid for and I’m driving it back home by 1000.

Good idea... I've only ever had 1 homeowners claim for about 13 grand. Tree fell on an outbuilding. Damaged equipment. Everything was replaced at cost, no argument. Auto Owners.....I am with an independent agent so , they shop around but everyone is seeing rate increases big time
I think I would ask them their top three. The y may be a preferred shop for one. If you see a pattern you will know how they take care if their customers

Go farm bureau, get liability coverage, probably be around 1800 for all five a year, even with the young drivers

And I’ll second the whole let your kids pay for their own insurance. I paid my own from the day I started driving at 16. $500 every 6 months was not fun but I paid it & my own gas and cigarettes.
My cousin still lets her 27 year old son mooch off her & her husband & pays for his smokes.

Lame

Have GEICO currently myself. Check your mileage online. Biggest drop for me is one of my cars gets driven a few miles a year. Changing mileage saved me a ton on it.

3 cars and a 2022 motorcycle.100/300/100, $1200 a year. Driving record is spotless.

I would venture to bet, most of your premium are the kids.

Look at your miles, make sure all vehicles aren’t “commute vehicles”.
