Carry gun suggestions

Do yourself a favor and go for the G23 or G27 in .40, then you can run 9mm, .40S&W, and .357sig in one gun. Just a barrel change and the correct mag and it's a 3 gun!

Have you considered either a Ruger SR9C or a S&W M&P 9C?
Both are excellent for CC on a medium to large frame person (heck I am short/med frame and the M&P conceals well on me).
Both are of excellent US made quality.
Either can be had for <$500.00 new right now - check the For Sales here or go to Buds Guns
- M&P comes standard with 12 rd mags
- Not sure on the Ruger but IIRC it's higher capacity
- Either can use a higher capacity mag from their bigger cousin handguns (the Ruger may come with one included)

I have considered both the SR9C and the M&P. Out of those two, the SR9 feels better to me.

So I'm really leaning towards the G19 now, unless I just happen to stumble upon an outstanding deal on something else.

The 19 is a fine weapon, I have owned a few BUT, IMHO it's a pretty big slab for daily carry. Kahr
CW9 if you have not looked. Kel tec PF9 if on a budget. Ruger LC9 if you want a Kel tec copy. Kimber solo if you want to name drop. Get what feels best in YOUR hand and for me it's the Kahr.

You make a good point. I really like the G19 for it's feel, ammo capacity and proven reliability. I WILL have a G19, but I am wondering how well it will work for every day carry. Maybe I'll supplement it with something closer to the size of my CZ70, like a PF9 or something of that size.
