Caught a lil mess of bream an bluegill...

Had a great time at a little farm pond today...

Reeled in about 35 and brought home 15 .

Gonna have em for supper tomorrow night ;-)

Highlight of the day was when about a 4lb bass tried to eat a big bluegill I was reeling in . Knocked it about a foot or more out of the water when he hit it and was completely out of the water himself .......

Man bream is probably my favorite local fish to eat. I love catfishing but they just ain't my thing as far as food goes.

Reminds me of my father-in-law who never caught a fish too

A couple are smaller than I like to keep, but they swallowed the hook ,so they get ate with the rest

small to eat. If he caught a fish it was going on a plate.

Smoked bluegill is the best.

I love some fried bream. I have never tried smoked bream. May be something to look into.
