And like everyone around here, 27.285 (ch28) for skip. Sometimes I get on the superbowl channel and beat Big Papa and his boys down up in NYC with 2kw RMS, slugged bird meter so thats true watts
I'll have to dig some up. Thought I had a few on my phone.
If I dint like drag bikes and guns I'd have a killer base station. derail says I have a competitive spirit that would love dx.
I don't have much mobile stuff. Just whats in my truck. I hardly even talk mobile.3clicks_Off , got any extra equipment laying around? I need a few thing to set up the truck.

Damn old Derail. He runs the north i85 corridor with his 10kw on I think a set of 7 element beams. I cant talk at all when he is on a roll.
I have a few "cheap" radios, but need an antenna or so and a kicker would be nice.. I sold my old 300 watt gray a few years back.
You should be beat. Those grays are tough. I have a Gray 200 base I've had for 25+ years and just had to put transistors in last year. I keep it on talking local so the guys down in Austell can hear me good. I have my Galaxy Saturn base tuned down to 1 watt dead key so I have to have a little power.
