Cerakote Removal?

How hard is it? Does it damage the surfaces really bad? Never heard of it being done.

You need to blast it off, I won't damage the surface if done with the right media (120 grit)

I had the gun bead blasted at Liberty Survival and Guns in Hiram. I don't know how it would do on an aluminum frame but on a carbon steel gun it will bring it down to the base metal. Not a problem for a stainless gun but a carbon steel gun will need to be refinished.

Ill give them a shout. I have a heavy billet AR that I'm looking at changing it up for more of a longer range. Everthing is cerkoted including the plastics. It's sweet but a much older coating. It's going to be more of a bench rifle.
