**cerakote removal?**

Does this stuff come off and how?

Want to get a rifle cerakoted And haven't decided if I should get the optic done to match as well. If I decided to get something else could I remove the cerakoting or am I SOL?. Optic is a Burris XTR so not cheap enough to justify throwing in a drawer if I want another optic.....may possibly to upgrade to a NF in the future.

Any affect on turrets for the optic if I blasted it? White marked increments.

Could u just re mask off those areas to blast or would the media remove whatever is used ......tape?

Bead blast it.

Yup or soaking it in acetone(don't recommend or be very careful)but, you are doing an optic so, don't do it lol...

If its air cure which it should be for a scope, aircraft zip stripper will take it off

Bead blast it off acetone won't touch it, we do optics quite often with bake on....just lower the heat and bake longer. As far as the increment marks, usually their gone, except for a small indention where they were once white.

Another for glass bead blasting. Acetone won't touch a ceramic hot cured finish.
