CFE pistol with 147 grain plated 9mm

Hodgdon has data for Hornady XTP that I can work from, but has anyone already worked up loads with this they want to share?

Sorry no I haven't and was watching this to see if anyone had any practical experience. I guess not, it's rather new.

4.0 grains of CFE with a 147 is a soft shooting pretty accurate load. I need to move it around a tenth of a grain or two in either direction to see if I can get better results, but this load works pretty darn good.

Pretty much. A little but of puff, but nothing bad. Clean up was pretty normal.

I have 100 147 grain 9mm's loaded up with just under 4 grains. Let you guys know how they perform. Hopefully I will get to expend them on Thursday

Where are you guys finding the CFE Pistol powder. I load a crap ton of 9mm and have been looking for it to give it a try.

They had some at the gun show in lawrenceville this past weekend. It was steep ($ 39.95/lb) , but still better than ordering online and then paying shipping plus hazmat just to try a pound.

Found some CFE pistol and loaded up some 147gr with 4.1grains. Will let you know how it goes!!

I bought it at the Gun Room in Conyers for regular prices. Been happy with 3.9 grains under a 147 9mm. Have not chrono'ed it yet. Atom242 - if you chrono it, please share your data.
