Here are some pics of about 4 pounds of mushrooms I hauled out of the woods one day this week. Anybody else out there have any luck shrooming so far?

Those look great! This what I got all cleaned up. Should be popping up all over the place after all the rain and humidity.

Checked my spot today and there are a bunch popping up.

How are you cooking them?
I like to cook them in all kinds of stuff! A few things I've already cooked with them are burgers, I like to chop up the mushrooms and some fresh jalapeños and patty it all together. A nice medium rare chanterelle burger with a cold drink and a few buddies doesn't get much better.
Also like to cook them into a chanterelle cream sauce, pretty basic sauce I throw together with some heavy cream, beef bullion, chanterelles, red wine and a bunch of butter lol. Eat that over some venison with some fresh veggies from the garden and I'm set brother! There are probably about 15 other things I cook them into but those are two of my favorites. The sauce also goes really well with shrimp and pasta!
