Shot a Charter Pitbull 5-shot 9mm revolver this weekend.
It had the big, finger-groove runner grips as shown.
It does NOT use clips. No full moon or half-moon clips. This cylinder is made to accept ordinary 9 x 19mm cartridges.
They fit in the chambers fine and do eject, with firm pressure on the ejection rod.
The gun had a pretty smooth BUT HEAVY double-action trigger.
Recoil was mild, though I only used 115 gr. standard pressure brass-cased loads.
The sights were dead-on at 7 and 15 yards. My groups were as tight as any I'd expect from a 2" barreled fixed-sight revolver.
But, the sights were ordinary... which in my view is barely adequate. For a close range daily carry revolver, I think the rear sight should have a huge rear notch, and both it and the front sight should have bright colors painted on or with plastic inserts.
A 70-year old person shooting this gun with us had a hard time with acquiring & aligning the sights, and his groups were big-- many shots from 10 yards would miss a man's torso entirely.
