Because you will have a bunch of NDs and troops are not the most stable/reasonable people in the world. Overseas, they are focused on the enemy/mission and confined and controlled (and yet you still have suicides and fragging), in garrison with all of the personal issues... PLUS all the PTSD issues (seen the vet suicide rates?). It would have a far bigger "force protection (preservation)" impact than even regular lone gunman attacks. The cure would be worse than the disease.

The scumbag picked the wrong place. You cant walk into a building full of Marines and expect to pick them off as they cower in corners. Marines truly believe they could take out an enemy Company with nothing more than a K-bar. They did not cower. They NEVER will. Come attack us scumbags. You might get a few, but you will never win.
