CMP 1911 Identification

I got my CMP 1911 an Im not sure how I feel about it. They marked it as a Frame- Colt, Slide- Colt but the lower has FJA indicating its an Ithaca made lower. Its also has the Ordinance Department Inspection cartouche. I know its all luck of the draw but I wish you could pay an extra $50 to get a matching upper/lower. I cant find if its ww2 or not because the dates on the slide are throwing me off.

That's a Remington Rand frame, not an Ithaca, and the serial range puts it at 1943.

The dates on the slide are Colt patent dates, they aren't relevant for determining manufacture date.
