Can someone tell me if RG6 connectors will fit on RG11 cable? I have a slew of RG11 piled in my attic from Charter and would like to shorten it and use it somewhere else in the house. I only have RG6/6QS connectors and crimper though. I asked the wizard at the homeless despot and he looked at me like a goat staring at a new fence. So I figured the ODT wizards might know more about it.

Also, the reason I havent tried fitting the Rg6 connectors on the RG11 cable for myself is I didnt want to cut the RG11 cable without knowing they would fit. The RG11 cable is currently providing my internet so if I cut it and the RG6 connectors dont fit, then my internet no worky. I couldnt find a definitive answer online so I figured someone here might know.

No it won't work. The center conductor of the RG11 is much bigger than RG6. RG11 connectors reduce the size center conductor to fit inside of a standard cable connection.

Grab some RG11 compression connectors and a compression tool kit.
Compression connectors are better
