Yep, that snake look like he was doing just fine basking in the water. They may have caught him to prevent a bite on unsuspecting people and just moved to to a more underpopulated area.

I spent some time over there and got to know many............nope.

Ole Dingo may be older and uglier but I would stand with him any day.
