Cold weather got me started……..finally!

Love it man. I love rockin the bench seat with a woman cozied up next to me. Nowadays its just me and my dog. LOL
One day me and my old lady will be doing just that, but first I got lots of work to do. This weekend will be heater core and blower motor, clean out the nests that are probably all up under the dash lol, get the dash gauges working, radio, then pull it all out for paint prep. I'm tired now that I just laid out what I'm attempting. Always best to aim high!

Can't wait to see her finished. Mine was an old rust bucket I traded a Colt 1911 for back in the late 90s. It would backfire every time you turned off the ignition. My girlfriend would giggle every time it backfired LOL.

Lots of good memories in that old truck.

Same, my first one was way worse than the one I'm working on, dented and smashed to hell, but that thing would run forever. 3 on the tree straight 6.

Heater core, blower motor and fan blade removed, all bed bolts removed. Off to a good start today! Going to clean some stuff up, remove some surface rust and seal it.

Start looking for a 302 out of a 80's model Mustang GT. They had roller cams, double roller timing chains and forged pistons. Made to take some abuse. I'm not sure if the truck loaders got the same treatment but the Mustang GT's definitely had it. Then slap a Paxton supercharger on there and you'll be ready to rock and roll. Put a little money into it for some extra horsepower and you'll never regret it. Not one penny!
