I had to do a lot of filing and stone work to get my Wilson Combat parts in my long slide 10mm. It took hours and hours of filing and fitting and filing and fitting. After that I had to go back and put the ceramic stones to it. They are not drop in parts by no means. I won't be doing another one of those for while. To put it bluntly it was a bi**h.
Now to have it run like a well oiled machine is take it all down and stone all the surfaces that make contact and move and lite buff here a little buff there and it will feel like a dream. My Remington came with felt like a 8lb trigger. Very stubborn to break. After all the work I have a nice 3.5 lb break and the slide and hammer all move like they were made of PTFE. The Remington needed the parts to better the trigger. Most of my other 1911's just get the stone and buff treatment.
