Colt 6720 vs Spikes Tactical mid-lenght ?????? FOR the same $$$$$$$

Another note, nothing wrong with carbine gas length. I have never had an issue with them. As noted above, you would not notice the diff between mid-carbine.

I agree with this.

The mid length system's pros:
-softer recoil
-longer parts longevity

223/556 recoil is not that harsh and I've never seen an experiment of the latter (please educate me if you have proof or an example).

Not hating on the mid length system (I have one) but I don't believe it should be the deciding factor.

This is the main reason I don't really see the need for mid-length. I mean, if I was a competition shooter, I may EVERY advantage I could get, but avg joe doesnt.

I use a ST-T2 heavy buffer, M16 carrier, the JP flat music wire buffer spring, and the Miculek brake. Everyone who shoots my carbine says it feel like a .22.

I don't see where mid-length could take any more away???
