Combloc day at the Range #2

Got a short notice kitchen pass today and asked the boys if they wanted to go to the range and learn the AK platform...I got a resounding and enthusiastic "YES" from my 9 and 11 year old....as well as ODT member Christianjones...

So we piled up in the FJ in what looked like was preparation for the Zombie invasion....

I'm amazed at the awesome trigger (TAPCO) and little recoil of the AMD 65. A small child could use it effectively with appropriate training.

Nice collection of AK's you have there.

Not all are mine....ODT'er christianjones and I staged the photo...

I was even more amazed at my 9 year old handling the Mosin 91/44....that gun packed a punch but both handled it with a smile....fun day....love the giggles and laughs....

I had the SGL21-61, the Beater Kit UF, and the Vector UF....the rest is Christian's.....he has some really nice AK's.....

it was a fun day and It is nice to see the boys in the videos handle themselves so well....Jackson, my oldest, is a natural and Parker will shoot anything, he just needs a little more strength and time to grow...

yeah...Jackson is a Lefty and it throws a wrench in my CHI! but he is a shooter and adapts well....

If you could have seen how FULL the FJ was with all of Christians stuff and mine....you would have seen why we didn't have a PSL or two in the mix...

what wasn't shown was the 77/22 and the 10/22 we had as well....

Plus it was SUPER WINDY! but it did calm down after a while... 7.62 and Bowling pins makes for a fun day!
