Hello,
I am looking for a pair of compact binoculars from the list of this article. I expect something relatively compact and light. I would like to stay within the $ 200 budget. I want to use them comfortably for long periods.
Many thanks for your recommendations and comments.

How compact are you talking?

What do you mean by long periods?

ETA:

The spousal unit and I recently went on a photo safari in Kenya. I used these Meade binos and was quite pleased with them. The wife liked them so much she ditched the more expensive pair of Leupolds I bought her and stole mine. :(

Your article is all monoculars, none of which are comfortable for long periods of time. Closing one eye and holding the other open will fatigue your eyes pretty quick.

This is my pick https://www.opticsplanet.com/steiner-binoculars-8x30-military-marine.html
They stay in my car and always on me while hunting. They are auto-focus, so you just focus them to your vision, and you are good to go at any distance, no focus ring to fool with. Makes them super fast to throw up on the hwy, or in the woods. They are very light too. I won’t go back to roof prisms.

I’ve got a buddy that worked for Steiner. He said the quality difference in their low and high end glass was pretty much unnoticeable to the eye. I can’t tell the difference. They kick ass in low light, especially considering the small objective lens.
