Complaint Letter to Midway USA CEO

the dates that they post are the dates that they receive from their suppliers (could be a distributor, could be the manufacturer). When that company changes the dates, Midway changes their dates. The dates are only as good as what their supplier will tell them. they can't help it that the market has been bizarre for the past 6-8 months on ammunition.

if you don't like it, don't buy online, and don't every order anything that says backorder.

if there's a question about something in stock, I always call if I'm placing an online order. makes it much easier to do business. :)
 
This thread makes me happy that I have 22.

I put an order in at Cabelas during the panic and then forgot about it, 6 months later I got an email saying it was shipping. I bought from a couple of websites during that time, all back ordered, it all showed up eventually and for a good price.
 
I am with you.... I purchased a few mags for my Marlin 795 over a year ago with another company.... I got the same run around... I also bought 2 "custom" etched lowers and have been waiting on them for over a year..... They at least send me their company news letter, so I know they are still in business. The first doesn't answer emails or phone calls.....
 
My experance is, I usually get as good as I give. If im an ass to the person who is just doing their job on the other end of the line, it's probably not going to go well.

BUT, if I am nice and recognize that the person has possibly already delt with several other ticked off people, and I am nice and friendly. I get better results.

And this is how you get things done......with a smile. I've still been told "No way", but they were smiling back when they said it. The best part is if you ever have to deal with them again they don't think "Here comes that ass again."
 
I just make a point of never ordering anything that is on backorder!! I know that grief is sure to follow if this is done. :flypig::flypig: I just look elsewhere for what I want. I'd rather have the frustration looking for a new source for what I want. Much less grief that way!! :sad::sad:

BTW, Larry has never treated me bad. He even thanked me for my business!! ......."and that's the way it is!" :whoo:

Just sayin'.........!
