If you are in the market for a new computer, there are some killer deals out there right now, as retailers are clearing inventory.

I'm not much of a geek, but I have trashed my laptop and need a new one.

Found a Lenovo on Amazon for $321 that was selling for $1000 a month ago.

Compared to a 2020 HP for about the same money that was selling for $1000, I think that HP is more durable, but the Lenovo had twice the features including a touch screen. For this money, doesn't have to be very durable.

Understand that the brick and mortars like Best Buys have similar deals. Supposed, when supply catches up with demand, prices will go back up.

Based on advice given me, I start by looking for a solid state drive. SSD or SSSD. This seems to be one cutoff point. The rest I just tried to read up on a little. I got lost on processors at least 10 years ago.

That's been my go to for years , but right now you can buy more computer cheaper that a refurb.
