This question might make me sound naive or like a complete idiot, but I came across a video that was explaining why you should have concealed carry insurance. I never really thought about it. I am busy thinking of how to protect myself and loved ones, which is the most important thing, but haven't put much thought into post-incident. I would like to know if this is common with members here. How many have some sort of concealed carry insurance or are a member of USCCA? The person in this video chose USCCA because it is more than just concealed carry insurance.
The main reason to have this insurance are the legal fees that come into play if you are involved in an incident. Even if perfectly legal and justified, you can be sued. And that is expensive. I would love to get anyones opinion and specifically the best providers to look at. Or you can tell me this is useless and not needed. And I assure you, I am not affiliated with an insurance company or pushing USCCA.
