Someone in a comment section of one of the videos made the below comment. Not sure if it is true because I am still researching. I am assuming if you take a plea deal you are in a grey area or worse, so money might be the least of your concerns at that point. But still interesting.
If you are "covered" by USCCA (and their similar competitors), then will not cover costs if you accept a plea bargain (which a vast majority of defendants do if charged). This is due to the nature of their product. They are prohibited from reimbursing you for criminal actions, which you admit to doing if accepting a plea bargain. This is not the case for a service like Firearm Legal Protection, for example.
