Considering getting a couple of new cans.

I just told you what I had and how I liked it. I'm sure there's way better but I don't know all the ins and outs of cans. Mine works as well as I need it to.
You take offense to that?!

You said the Erector is Ti. It's AL, unless they have a new one that I haven't seen. The Erector is stupid light, but AL, so I haven't gotten one. If they make one in Ti, I'd like to know and I'll get one...

Grab urself a snickers.

Where in my post did you feel I took offense?

You're wound a little tight today... never knew the avatar was really you.

A lot of people don't want titanium. Ti is cool in certain situations (I have a few Ti cans), but Ti has limitations. Having a can made with steel alloys is certainly not old tech.

1. Ablative sparking. It's a thing. And if your goal is signature reduction, the ti cans work against you.
2. Steel and these super alloys (inconel, stellite, etc) handle extreme stresses much better than Ti and are more durable.

HUB (1.375x24) is probably the best terminology for those new to suppressors over "Bravo," which is SiCo's HUB compatible rear end.
Agree to a certain point, but 98% of all suppressor shooters don't shoot them enough to fully cure the factory finish. Pistol cans and L cans in titanium don't spark, atleast in my testing. Most TI cans are full auto rated with temp restrictions; most don't have full auto. I painted with broad strokes for a huge wall and didn't trim around the electrical receptacles.

At this stage in the game, unless there is a certain reason not to go titanium, go titanium.

If signature reduction is a goal, Ti is not an option. Not an option at all on AR's. Maybe, maybe not an option on other centerfire platforms dependent on a number of variables.

Full auto rated is a dicey misconception. Start mag dumping most TI "full auto rated" cans and you'll find why.

I have multiple Ti cans. But knowing where and when to employ is important. Blanket statements of "anything but Ti is old tech" is detrimental to actual knowledge and information for people. It's beyond broad strokes, electrical boxes, Yada, Yada, Yada.
