I carry a Ruger .357 GP100 in the woods, 3 snake shot, and 3 flat nosed bullets, for snakes, hogs, or two legged critters, along with a couple of speed loaders

When I am at the farm, I always have my .38 with custom, hand-loaded snakeshot rounds. Killed a skunk last week with them. It took a few extra shots, cause I didn't want to get very close to it.

Glad it was a miss! I almost stepped on one in my yard Sat while picking up sticks getting ready to mow grass. Scared the poop outa me.

This was all that was left of one I accidentally discovered I ran over while cutting at the hunt camp.

Always watching the ground closely this time of year.
