The numbers don't seem so bad at a 100. The numbers we do have are confirmed cases, hospitalizations, and rate of spread.
I wont bother with mortality as that can be argued 6 ways from Sunday and already has been.
We started March with about 70 confirmed cases. We now have approx 260k on April 3rd. Confirmed cases are doubling every 5 days.
So in 30 days the number of confirmed cases will double 6 times. That's over 100 million cases. Your number for hospitalizations is 14% (I'm reading more like 20% but doesn't matter for this example).
So, 14 million cases that require hospitalization. We have less than 1 million staffed hospital beds. Say, through hard work and miracles we were able to expand our hospital bed capacity by a factor of 10. We still overload our medical system by millions. And that's at about the end of this month.
The ride is only now beginning ladies. I will send some words up for all of you.
That's because our so-called healthcare "experts" are in fact complete morons just like our politicians.
Here's what they're doing. If you have any symptoms and go somewhere to be tested, and you don't meet a very specific defined criteria, they tell you to go home and isolate yourself for a few days in case you get worse. Meanwhile if you do get worse, it's too late. If they would've started treatments, like hydroxycloroquine early, you'd most likely be fine. It has already been proven in multiple tests and in multiple countries.
People are dying not because this kung flu is so bad, but because our healthcare system sux. And the so-called healthcare experts go an post on social media about healthy people getting sick to try and make a point, but they ended up that way because of complete moronic negligence by said healthcare "experts".
These are the same doctors that over prescribed antibiotics.
These are the same doctors that over prescribed opiates.
These are the same doctors that hold up signs asking you to stay home so they don't get infected because they're "heroes"...
Quit listening to these morons, and tell them to do their damn job. I had a friend the other day that went into the front door of a hospital with all the symptoms, and they told him to go home. He walked right out the front door and into the ER and now he's sitting at home waiting on the test results....
