WHO, CDC, and others are reporting the data. It would be unlikely that it's being collected first hand in China. That means that they're using the data China provides. I doubt that we'll ever have the real numbers from China.Somebody please explain to me why the death rate percentage is based on how many have contracted to virus instead of on how many have recovered from the virus. How is this a 2-3 % death toll ?
Look at these numbers above... 426 deaths on 19922 Cases...That is 2.1%...
But, of the 19922 cases, only final outcomes of 1049 are determined..(426 died and 623 recovered). That leaves 18,873 still sick... And may either die of recover...
And that is assuming these numbers are accurate
