Correcting Length of Pull on a Wood Stock

Good work.
I also prefer shorter stocks for any gun that I will often shoot from the standing or sitting (or kneeling) position.
Most factory stocks on most rifles have a 13.5" to 14" length of pull, and that's too long for me, UNLESS I'm in the prone position or shooting from a benchrest, where I can lean over the rifle.
12.5" to 12.75" is ideal for me.

405g Hollow base flat points over a case full of H380 ball powder. 1650 fps. First four are hollow pointed, just for grins. Never recovered one of these as they always seem to leave the deer spouting blood like two fire hoses. Easy to track them the 6 to8 inches they travel after being hit in the boiler room!

Me and the wife too, 12.75" is about right for both of us. I like just a touch under 13 better though, but the other works fine for both of us.
