I've always thought that Dwight Yoakum was underrated and never got the recognition his music deserved.
Plus he was Doyle Hargraves....the law's on his side.
Even though I despise his political beliefs I like Steve Earles early stuff.
I wore out my cassette tape of Copperhead Road when I was in the Navy in 89, until some low-life bilge snipe stole it off my rack.
Guitar Town may be the perfect two and a half minute rockabilly country song.
