Thank you - I appreciate this post. I was feeling a bit down at first because I was seriously asking for people to consider starting a conversation about the possibility of forming a group. This is not an easy thing to do because we are all very cautions in nature. But decided to take the high road and treat it with humor.
BTW -- actually I have a man to bring to the group - I am a woman!
We have found so many (usually group 1 - maybe group 4) who are just guys who are into prepping; but their "women" think they are crazy or just tolerate their "hobby". We would like all of the adults to be invested in getting prepared in the people we choose to cooperate with for our mutual safety.
1. yes we have..but as mentioned in the thread...its in good fun.
2. you and your gf should PM the OP if you're interested in the group she's trying to put together(look at her other thread where she's asking for like minded people to buy property near her...she's also a real estate agent btw)
3. maybe it can save lives...but you're smarter than that

no not at all. it just sounds like a swinger group and my gf is down to swing. i mean, why not meet up with a bunch of swingers that like to prep. i might learn something.
was being a little facetious.. maybe is should drink another double shot of vodka so my creative writing humour comes through.

LOL! My wife is a leaner. She understands and agrees with how it's good to have some basic stuff but leans towards thinking I'm paranoid. Which bothers me more because she's Russian. When a Russian thinks you are paranoid it really makes you think.
