As we all know the gun lobby has won several major gun cases recently, especially with bump stocks and forced reset triggers. But, I noticed here that people are asking outrageous prices on those items AND nobody seems to be selling new stock from retail locations. What gives? People want $500 on here for a WOT while you can get a trigger group at gun shows for $125 (didn't ask if it was a bump stock or FRT principle). What is going on?

That stuff is just recreational not intended for serious use. Seems outrageously high for all it is.

You can buy a Glock at a LGS for under $600 or you can buy one here for $750…

The choice is always yours and long live the free market!
That is part of the free market. A product is worth what someone is willing to pay. In this case, the people who made bump stocks and forced reset triggers went to court and won. Their products are perfectly legal. But, it appears that nobody is putting more of that stuff on the market. If the WOT brand were on the market right now, it's retail cost would probably be around the $175 mark or so. Instead, people are selling the ones that still exist for twice what the WOT originally sold for. It's worth what you will pay. I just expected those companies would put those products back on the market to help pay for the legal costs they incurred.

Not sure about Bump Stocks but I’m pretty sure the FRT was awarded strictly to the Rarebreed brand only and other makers don't have the official blessing hence why you don’t see any other FRT makers offering in stock items at this time.

I'm just trying to understand some basic economics. I got a real good lesson why the temporary drop in ammo prices and realize that now is the time to buy. Prices will rise again due to the fact that people panic bought in earlier years and the tariffs will drive up prices as will shortages in materials that are inevitable.
