Politicians hire some of the most ignorant and uneducated idiots for reasons unknown and it bewilders me. In response to the doctors saying opioids were not addictive, they were in cahoots with pharmaceutical companies. I guess there is a lot to be said for first hand experience on that one.
Nothing worse than a politician getting up and quoting false medical advice to the nation. Clearly the guy Fauci wasn't a well-advised individual on the topic seeing that he was a medical advisor. If you're getting paid to be a medical advisor to seven presidents you obviously haven't been kept totally up to date on all the new viruses and what's coming out. That's plain and easy to see from what we hear on this clip. Supposedly he had been collecting a nice $417,000 a year. That tends to keep you at home and not at the laboratory wouldn't you think? I mean he was a full-time paid employee of the federal government under seven presidents. That's a long time away from the laboratory and the seminars I would imagine. As far as I know I know there's not any kind of CDC department inside the White House. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong here!

30+ years ago pain became the "fifth vital sign". You had "consultants" making bank saying that healthcare had a responsibility to treat whatever pain a patient claimed to have, regardless of objective data.
Ergo, docs were pressured into prescribing and over prescribing narcotics.
That doesn't mean it was right, but there were excuses.
Did you hear / see about the beagles and sandfly experiments? He was in the labs or directly directing research just a few years before the scam-demic.
Fauci also had multiple patents on multiple drugs. He was making way more in royalties than his $400K salary.
