Coyote at close range?

You can shoot coyotes with 22s and bring them down. At 15-20 yards you should be able to headshot most of them with 22lr.

If you've got concerns with neighbors or sound, stick to the Colibris. They're quiet like a pellet gun, but I'd say you have to go for a lung shot in with them. Not sure how good penetration would be through the skull.
That colibris may not make it to its vitals passed 7-10 yards.

Metal balls with tiny fish hooks in them. What he needs to do is build a backstop in his yard and practice shooting a soda can at that distance till he is excellent at it. Then start boating the area and let them get used to food being there ( sardines juice and left overs) , then gut shot them .

Yes with colibris! One or two in the heart/lungs and he'll run a minute, but not too far.
Take a few out and put up a gel setup. Wrap it in deerskin. Watch it work.
Colibris aren’t even going 700 fps @ 20 grain? What rifle are you shooting them out of? They can’t even make it out of microgroove barrels.

Shooting them out of a cannon in bulk.
I've never had them block up. Been shooting Colibris in town out of a marlin 60 for about 5 years. I have had the occasional one of them fail to cycle but yank the slide and you're off again. Until you try them, don't go around calling BS.

You are confusing aguila colibris , with cci cb longs, even then cb longs barely get 750 fps.
