Crappie Thread

The bite is about to be on boys their at 6-8 feet now. Only a couple things get me going better then guns is women, crappie fishing, and opening day trout fishing. Doesnt exactly have to be in that order.

My trading days and shooting days are coming to a point of slowing down crappie are going to start hitting and late nite flathead catfishing is after that.

I hunt wmas so opening deer season isnt so exciting anymore.

Its my fav time of the year and I am ready! Hitting the lake this weekend hopeing the cold weather doesnt affect them. I'll post pics if I get in em good.

went crappie fishing for the first time this year last sunday. No bites while trolling, caught some off minnows fished about 7' deep off of points.

Any of yall guys on crappie.com and if so whats yalls usernames. Mine is the same as here.

Im planning on going friday evening and building a big fire by the lake and braking out the lanterns and see what happens. I missed the spawn lastyear cause they ran real early thats not happening this year.
